Wen Jung Li

Professor Wen Jung Li has published over 300 papers in SCI/EI with more than 4000 times of citing, 33 times of h-index and 98 times of h10-index. He established the micromanipulation robot research team and led to carry out researches including micromanipulation robot and mems system, achieving innovative fruits in cell clamping operation robot and robot sensor based on MEMS. As the principle member of the partner lab, professor Wen Jung Li led and participated in a great number of project R&D, accumulating rich experience in project management. He successfully completed projects of innovation and technology fund (ITF), Research Grant Committee (RGC), National Natural Science Foundation of China and National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program). He carried out a multitude of innovative research in the application of robot sensor based on MEMS, including safety airbag based on the MEMS intelligent perceptive technology and human motion recognition based on MEMS motion sensor. His team published many important papers on robots and electro-mechanics in international conferences and won awards several times. He has made great contribution in the research of replacing silicon sensor with ultra-low power carbon nanotube sensor and become an IEEE fellow in 2010.
