Prof.WANG Tianmiao, a Ph.D advisor and distinguished professor under Changjiang ScholarsProgram. He earned bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees from Xi’an JiaotongUniversity and Northwestern Polytechnical University before conductingpostdoctoral studies on advanced robotics at the Tsinghua National Laboratoryfor Intelligent Technology and System and the Italian National Laboratory forBionic Mechanics. He is a member of Expert Group on Subject Review under theAcademic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and chair of Beijing Section,IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. His main research interests are in thefield of advanced robotics. He has made remarkable achievements in medicalrobots, bionic robot fish, and embedded technology.
