Responsible person. The main research direction is artificial intelligence and mobile robot. He was awarded the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz prize, the highest scientific research award in Germany in 2009, the winner of the advanced grant of the European Research Council in 2010, and the coordinator of the cluster of excellence brainlinks braintools project funded by the German science foundation since 2012. Wolfram burgerd is a member of the European Commission for the coordination of artificial intelligence (eccai), the American Society for artificial intelligence (AAAI), the Institute of electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences, the German National Academy of Sciences, and the chairman of the IEEE Society for robotics and automation (RAS).
