Chris Jones is the vice president of technology of iRobot Corporation. He has over 20years of experience in robotics R&D across academia, government, and industry. At iRobot hisresponsibilities are centered on strategic technology planning and development and fosteringpartnerships to advance the state-of-the-art in practical consumer robotics.
Prior to joining iRobot in 2005, he was involved in robotics R&D at the Center for Roboticsand Embedded Systems at the University of Southern California, the Artificial Intelligence Labat the University of Zurich, the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Center at Sandia NationalLaboratories, and the Robotics Research Lab at Texas A&M University. Chris Jones received hisPh.D and M.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and his B.S. inComputer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
